Well in my opinion it's about time 16 year olds have the right to vote. I feel like most 16 year old know even more about politics than some older people depending obviously and the ones that don't care about politics won't even fucking vote.

When you go on the r/politics subreddit, all you see is the immense amount of narrative control and censorship. You can't speak positively of Trump. This is fundamentally against the principles of free speech and the First Amendment. We should ensure that all voices have a platform, no matter how unpopular or controversial the thought is. Nor should it be silenced by individuals' own beliefs. Another issue is the lack of alternatives for the community. Pretty much the only alternative is Exonet, which is still in its growing phase. Thus, political discussion on American politics is extremely suppressed and controlled on the internet. This has influenced American politics on a much deeper level than some people think. It has been one of the most deteriorating forces in the history of the internet, and it will only get worse if things don't change. We need to say NO! We need to say that these ultra-hungry moderators and elites can't control the perception of topics, leading to one-sided narratives. Now, what some people are probably thinking is that I am pushing my own agenda and that I would want some Republican-controlled community instead, but that’s not what is right. Discussion should not be one-sided, regardless of which side it favors. It should be neutrally moderated and freely shared.

It is the same exact problem on places like r/europe. You can' freely share anything, it influences societies. Reddit is full of censorship! exo/RedditBS
