What’s the creepiest thing someone has ever said to you that turned out to be true?

My grandma told me as a kid: “Don’t trust a man with square shoes.” I thought it was nonsense. My ex wore those weird squared-toe dress shoes. He stole my identity.

Therapist once told me “you’re not afraid of death, you’re afraid of being forgotten.” That one still hits lol
